Uploading videos and thumbnails

Your video and your video thumbnail are vital to the functionality of the platform. As such, your page will never be viewable if these two are left incomplete.

Uploading a video.

To upload a video, click on the upload button at the bottom of the 'Business media' section. This will bring you to a separate page where you will be presented with an upload form.

Select 'Choose file'.

Select the video you would like to upload from your device’s file manager. Note that videos are only accepted in MP4 or mpeg formats. After selecting your file, press the 'Upload' button to start the upload process. Do not close this window until the upload is complete as this may interrupt the process and prevent your video from being uploaded. You will know your video has been successfully uploaded once you are redirected to a success page.

Return to the application or website. You will notice that your upload button has been changed to pending and can no longer be interacted with. This is because all videos uploaded to Aboutli or reviewed for quality control and to ensure that the fall within our guidelines for acceptable content.

Your video will automatically be published to your page upon a successful review. This process can take up to 24 hours.

Uploading or changing your thumbnail.

Uploading or changing thumbnail for your page is identical to the process of changing your profile picture. Simply tap on the thumbnail were indicated and select a file from your device's file manager. Please note that images are only accepted in JPEG or PNG format.
