After the events of 2020, we knew something needed to be done to help local businesses. So, we set out to create a platform that changes the way your business is perceived, to change the way your community interacts with you and by extension, increasing the mindshare of your business in those that matter most: your customers.
In environmentally and economically sustainable communities, local businesses are the backbone of the economy. We want to make sure they have the resources they need to thrive to create more friendly, accessible communities - one where local businesses can grow and compete with larger companies that have the resources to leverage video in ways most local businesses cannot.
Aboutli is committed to helping local business owners use video to showcase their brands and products in engaging ways; to help foster a sense of community, connection, and investment in the people and places around us.
The founders, Brenton Richards and Karolina Podczasi, share a belief in environmental an economic sustainability as well as the importance localization plays in the health of communities and their members. The pair have over seven years of professional design experience, 10 years of video production experience and seven years customer relations experience between them. Both have worked as freelancers and this experience leads their charge in creating the more sustainable and accessible SMB environment that they themselves wish they had over the course of their experiences.
