Requesting production services

To request a video you must first create an account with Aboutli.  Thereafter navigate to the ‘You’ page on mobile or look to the left side panel on desktop.

Select Video requests to be taken to the video requests page. This page is where you’ll find all current and previous requests.

. Select ‘new video request’ on desktop or hit the add icon on mobile located in the bottom right corner. When asked, choose production request.

On the bookings page you’ll see detailed information about the service and will need to fill in information such as the date and time of your shoot and the type of service you’d like based upon your needs and budget (your business info will be filled in automatically).

Next, you’ll need to fill in a quick description of what you want out of your video. You can also post links to examples you would like us to reference.

Once you submit, you’ll receive several emails confirming your request including a calendar invite.   Note that the calendar date is tentative until a videographer accepts your request.
You can monitor the status of your request in the application and updates will be sent to you via email.

Once a videographer accepts your request, your request status will change from ‘pending’ to ‘accepted’. You will also receive an email letting you know who your videographer will be and a little bit about them.
